Counselor 6-12 - Jamie Aragon
Hello students and parents/guardians! My name is Jamie Aragon, and I will be your new Secondary School Counselor!
I graduated from a small rural high school in northeast Missouri, South Shelby High School. After high school I received my Bachelor's degree in Photography, and a Master's degree in Career and Technical Education in Teaching Leadership from the University of Central Missouri. I have worked in higher education for the past 17 years and for the last 7 years I have worked closely with students in the College of Education pursuing teaching degrees. I recently graduated with my Master's degree in School Counseling from Walden University.
In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my son, Jaxson, and our three dogs! We live in Warrensburg, and Jaxson keeps our family very busy with all of his sporting activities. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone at Leeton and being able to help all my students in their academic career!
