Agriculture Instructor, Grades 7-12: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking an energetic individual to serve as an Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2021-2022 school year.  An ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of agriculture content, including construction, welding, and greenhouse. Elementary Special Education Instructor: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking an energetic individual to serve as a Special Education Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.  The Leeton R-X School District is a rural district located between Warrensburg and Clinton with an enrollment of approximately 300 students.  Our school team is positive, forward-thinking, and collaborative.  Essential job functions include: serve as a case manager in the development and implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities; provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities both in the regular education classroom and in separate special education classes or settings; communicate with regular education teachers and principals regarding the educational needs and programs of students with disabilities; collaborate with the school team in implementing effective specialized teaching and behavioral strategies for students with disabilities; maintain records regarding individual student progress toward IEP goals and objectives, services and accommodations provided, parent contacts, notices, and other documentation as required by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) regulations, the Director of Student Services or the school principal;participate in student eligibility evaluations and re-evaluations; initiate communication with parents of students with disabilities on a regular basis; and other duties/responsibilities deemed necessary may be assigned.  Those that are interested in joining our team should submit an application to hshaffer@leeton.k12.mo.us and adavis@leeton.k12.mo.us

English Language Arts, Grades 6-8: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking an energetic individual to serve as a middle school English Language Arts teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.  The candidate would need to have a strong knowledge base of ELA Missouri Learning Standards and be goal-oriented in implementing reading and writing strategies.  The Leeton R-X School District is a rural district located between Warrensburg and Clinton with an enrollment of approximately 300 students.  Our school team is positive, forward-thinking, and collaborative.  Those that are interested in joining our team should submit an application to jcorson@leeton.k12.mo.us

Family and Consumer Science Instructor: The Leeton R-X School District is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable Family and Consumer Sciences teacher for the 2021-2022 school year for middle and high school, including FCCLA.  The Leeton FCCLA program has grown to one of the largest programs in the area and the candidate would need to maintain and continue the growth of membership, as well as the high expectations set for members.  The Leeton R-X School District has focused its goals on the career education of all students, as well as high levels of project/passion-based learning.  The candidate seeking this position will need to collaborate with other CTE areas within the district to promote both winter and spring showcases of student work and achievement, as well as keep the Bulldog Catering active among the FCCLA chapter.  Class sponsorship is also available with the position.  Salary is based on experience. Vocal Music Instructor, Grades K-12: The Leeton R-X School District is seeking an enthusiastic K-8 vocal music/performing arts instructor for the 2021-2022 school year.  This position would consist of elementary/middle school vocal music/performing arts, and building the vocal music program at the high school level.
