🥨 Our Foods 2 students have been busy refining their dough-making skills—by making delicious pretzels! 👩🍳👨🍳
This hands-on lesson wasn't just about the baking—it was also about getting creative in the kitchen. Students explored the concept of approximate measurements, learning that sometimes you don’t need a ruler to get the job done. One clever student is even using the length from her palm to her elbow as a handy (pun intended!) 15-inch measuring tool! 💪📏
We love seeing our students mix fun with practical life skills in the classroom!

🧠🍎 Our Nutrition and Wellness students just wrapped up their study of the Human Digestive Tract in a monster way!
To bring learning to life, students teamed up to create Digestive Monsters 👾. After tracing around one of their classmates, they researched the organs that make up the digestive system, drew and labeled each one on their figure, and even added yarn to represent the actual length of the intestines (spoiler alert: it's long 🧵)!
Hands-on, collaborative learning at its finest — and a great way to "digest" some serious science! 💡🧬
