Mrs. O'Dell's Foods 1 students made White cake, Yellow cake, or Chocolate Cake. After making the frosting and putting it on the cake, students were able to sample all three types of cakes.

BOARD OF EDUCATION FILING
The Leeton R-X School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024 election. Interested persons may file at the Superintendent’s office (Central Office) located at 500 North Main, Leeton MO. 64761. For more information, contact Mr. Adam Easterwood, Superintendent, at (660) 653-2301.
There are two (2) positions available with three-year terms.
Filing will begin on December 5, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. and will end on December 26, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.
(Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will take place during normal Central Office business hours.) Filing will not occur on days that the school district’s central office is closed due to inclement weather, holiday, or in the event of a closure due to exceptional circumstances. Ballot placement will be first in-first on.
District’s Central office will be closed. Friday, December 22, 2023 thru Monday, December 25, 2023.
Filing will end on Tuesday, December 26, 2023; office will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications -- Citizen of US; resident taxpayer of the district; resided within the district for the 1 year immediately preceding the election; be at least 24 years old; not delinquent in state income, or personal property tax or real property on their residence. If board member is a corporate officer of a fee office, that office can't be delinquent on any state tax; not have been guilty of a felony or misdemeanor under federal law, or in another state that would be considered a felony in Missouri; not a registered sex offender; and must be in compliance with all Missouri Ethics Commission requirements.
