From Mrs. Pinnell
"3rd Grade: Building Trust
•learned about the need for trust in working together
The teams had to construct an exact copy of the tower I had made but my tower was hidden. Only one person per team could come look at it. They then had to go back and tell the rest of their team how to build it based on what they saw. We talked about what skills were needed, how they showed trustworthiness and the effect it had on the outcome of their construction."

Last week, the Leeton R-X School District Early Childhood Center received a visit from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Childhood Compliance following a complaint that a child/ children in our Early Childhood Center were coming home with bug bites. After conducting interviews with several children, the case was referred to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services for further review.
The Department of Health and Senior Services conducted a thorough investigation and concluded that the complaint was unfounded. While we are pleased with this outcome, the safety and well-being of our children remain our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, areas are being re-treated to ensure our environment continues to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Superintendent Dr. Adam Easterwood at 660-653-2301. The official report from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is available for review upon request.
Sincerely,
Dr. Adam Easterwood
Superintendent of Schools
